Your help extracting information from QE and arranging the appointment with Dr. Mathew means more than I can say, and without it, I wouldn\u2019t be where I am now.\n\nBack in December, when I saw Dr. Mathew, I was encouraged to learn that he believed my case may have been mishandled by QE, and was optimistic about arranging my pre-op consultation in December or January, with surgery in February or March. I had the pre-op on 30 January\u2014about ten weeks ago now\u2014and I understand that the pre-op is valid for eighteen weeks. Naturally, as time passes, my stress and frustration are increasing.\n\nHealth-wise, I feel as though my life is on hold. I had hoped to undertake pilgrimage this year, but with each passing week that dream seems more distant. At age seventy, the pilgrimage is already a challenge. If I could have surgery in the next few weeks, there may still be time to make the pilgrimage\u2014especially since it is scheduled for 25 May.
