I searched, but couldn’t find any credible info confirming a new RTÉ/RTGE-series called *The Galway Bay Murders* launching in November. Here’s what I *did* find, and some thoughts on what might be causing the confusion.

---

### ✅ What *is* actually announced

- **RTÉ has confirmed a show called *The Galway Bay Murders*** as part of its 2026 drama lineup. It’s set to follow “seasoned NYPD detective Nora Savage as she takes a career break on the west coast of Ireland and is promptly dragged into a murder investigation.” ([joe.ie](https://www.joe.ie/movies-tv/traitors-ireland-season-2-rte-new-season-kin-tall-tales-880836?utm_source=openai))
- The show is part of what RTÉ is calling its **biggest‐ever drama slate**—over 160 hours of Irish-made dramas in production or scheduled through the rest of 2026. ([joe.ie](https://www.joe.ie/movies-tv/traitors-ireland-season-2-rte-new-season-kin-tall-tales-880836?utm_source=openai))

---

### ⚠️ What *isn’t* sure / what might be wrong

- **No release date has been confirmed**. That includes month, day, or whether it will air in November. ([joe.ie](https://www.joe.ie/movies-tv/traitors-ireland-season-2-rte-new-season-kin-tall-tales-880836?utm_source=openai))
- There’s no solid info on cast beyond the premise, no episode count, no promotional images or trailers found yet.
- “RTGE” doesn’t show up in any reliable sources in connection with this title—seems likely a mis-type or misunderstanding (maybe RTÉ was meant instead of RTGE).

---

### 🔍 Likely what’s really going on

Given the official announcements, here’s a probable scenario:

- *The Galway Bay Murders* is real and in development at RTÉ.
- People may have assumed “November” because many RTÉ shows drop around then, or through mistaken early reports.
- “RTGE” is probably a typo or mis-hearing of “RTÉ,” Ireland’s national broadcaster.

---

If you want, I can track more precisely when *The Galway Bay Murders* is expected to air, who’s cast, how many episodes, etc., and let you know as soon as anything official is released."
