You are living in Whitehall, Dublin 9, and yes — you are in the **Dublin North-West** Dáil constituency under the current boundaries. ([en.wikipedia.org](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dublin_North-West?utm_source=openai))

Here’s a breakdown to explain how we know:

---

## How the Constituency is Defined

1. According to the **Electoral (Amendment) Act 2023**, Dublin North-West includes electoral divisions labeled Whitehall A, B, C, and D (as well as others in Ballygall, Finglas, Beaumont, etc.). ([kiwix.drnathanhutchins.com](https://kiwix.drnathanhutchins.com/content/wikipedia_en_all_maxi_2026-02/Dublin_North-West?utm_source=openai))

2. The polling / electoral listings for Dublin North-West also explicitly include the parts of Whitehall within **Dublin 9** in the constituency. ([dublincityreturningofficer.com](https://www.dublincityreturningofficer.com/files/2025-10/polling_scheme_dublin_north_west.pdf?utm_source=openai))

---

## Is It “Dublin North-West” or Some Other Constituency?

- Prior to 2024, there were census-based changes shifting some areas (like parts of Santry and Finglas) out of Dublin North-West to new or adjusted constituencies. But Whitehall remained inside the boundaries of **Dublin North-West** after the 2023 review. ([irishtimes.com](https://www.irishtimes.com/politics/oireachtas/2023/08/30/electoral-boundaries-review-how-did-your-constituency-fare/?utm_source=openai))
- There is no current boundary drawing that places Whitehall in **Dublin North Central** or **Dublin Bay North** (which often get discussed in boundary reviews). ([electoralcommission.ie](https://www.electoralcommission.ie/app/uploads/2023/05/S387-Ray-McLoughlin-redacted.pdf?utm_source=openai))

---

If you want, I can double-check using your full address or Eircode to get the exact electoral division — that way it’s 100% certain."
