([eu.zagg.com](https://eu.zagg.com/zagg-connect-12c-wired-keyboard-for-type-c-2023/?setCurrencyId=2&utm_source=openai)) |

---

## What It’s Really Good For

Here’s how it stands out and what situations it works best in:

- Ideal if you want zero latency and no need to charge a keyboard. The wired USB-C connection ensures instant response.
- Matches well with tight setups—e.g. small desks, portable workstations—since it’s compact.
- Great for people who use multiple OSes. For instance, if you switch between a Chromebook, Mac, Windows PC, or even tablets/phones with USB-C.
- Durable build with a long warranty, and a conscious bend toward eco-friendly use with recycled materials.

---

## Things to Watch Out For / Limitations

Here are some trade-offs or limitations to keep in mind:

- Because it’s wired, it's not suited for those who prefer wireless setups or frequently travel and want fewer cables.
- No backlit keys. If you often type in dim lighting, this could be a downside. ([bhphotovideo.com](https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1785998-REG/zagg_103210889_connect_12c_wired_type_c.html?utm_source=openai))
- Lacks dedicated numeric keypad, so if you do a lot of number-input work (spreadsheets, data entry, etc.), that might be inconvenient.
- No built-in battery (it doesn’t need one), but that means no portable use without being plugged in.
- No Bluetooth or wireless switching between devices—unlike the Zagg Pro line. You’ll need multiple keyboards or adaptors for non-USB-C devices.

---

If you want, I can pull up some pricing/deals or compare this model to its rivals (both wired and wireless) to help you decide if it’s the best fit. Do you want me to do that?"
