Internal changes have been made to ChatGPT.

In ChatGPT, automatic reading of responses has now been moved to the Chat Menu, Chat Key then M.

Note: During late July and August, work will begin to improve the overall responsiveness of various Leasey utilities, such as access to ChatGPT, Sports and Games, RSS, etc. This will greatly improve performance. This work however will take some time.
 
New in Build 1073.

Adjustments have been made to improve the compatibility of WhatsApp with JAWS 2025. For example, pressing function key F1 to start recording should be more responsive.

Fixed a customer reported issue which could stop Custom Help from displaying and being created.

The command Leasey Key then I when used within Modern Notepad should now correctly report the total number of lines in the document.

New in build 1070.

When setting the sports and games timer for five minutes, the setting was not being honoured. This is now fixed.

New in Build 1069.

Introduced a new module, Leasey Sports and Games. Covers soccer, baseball, cricket, tennis and basketball.

When using the keystroke Leasey key then ALT+Shift+S to shut down the computer, or Leasey key ALT+Shift+R to restart, the processes to do so should be faster than before.

When using the Focus 14 Braille display, it is now possible to press With-Sign Chord to mute or unmute speech. This was functioning on the Focus 40 model but not the 14.

New in Build 1068.

LeaseyCloud has been removed. The full documentation chapter relating to the Backup and Restore Manager has been rewritten to accommodate this.

It is now possible to transcribe longer audio files to text. We recommend a maximum of two hours in length per file.
You can choose either to transcribe with speaker identification or without.

Weather monitor can be activated or deactivated with the Leasey key then Shift+M. You will now hear the current temperature as well as the change in weather condition.

In Outlook, when pressing ALT+Windows+U to launch an audio file from a message, a .wav file in addition to an .mp3 file can be detected.

Leasey News. When a news source has been viewed in the Results Viewer, pressing Escape now sets focus back to the list of news sources and categories as was the case with Leasey version 9.

RSS Reader. Pressing the Leasey key then ALT+Left Arrow moves back to the list of feeds.

RSS Reader. If a feed article contains links, such as those related to shopping deals, these links are now preserved. However, we still ensure that articles are as clean and as accessible as possible.
 
 RSS Reader. Some feeds which were not functioning in Leasey were accessible using the Lire application. These should now be processed by Leasey as well.

ChatGPT. Considerable improvements. Provides a full HTML view with links and tables where appropriate.
Results are gathered from the web as a priority so the latest information is retrieved.
Chapter 1 of the ChatGPT documentation should be read for a full understanding of new features.

ChatGPT. When uploading audio for transcription, progress indicators are given in 20 percent increments.

Results Viewer. When using JAWS, the Results Viewer should correctly gain focus when it is deployed.

Speech History. Pressing JAWS Key+Space then H should give results faster. As an alternative, press Control+Grave Accent then H.

Winamp. The three scripts for reporting elapsed time, total time and remaining time have been refined to give accurate output.

Weather. You can now get directly to the weather app with the Leasey key Shift+W.

Podcasts. If you've viewed a podcast feed from your updates, you can now get back to the list of those podcasts which have updates with the Leasey key then ALT+Left Arrow.
